The service and food are always top notch at The Capital Grill. Whether you're just stopping at the bar for a drink before your meal or in the large dining room, the staff always go above and beyond to make sure you have a great dining experience. If you are celebrating an anniversary or birthday, they decorate your table for the celebration. I particularly love their raw seafood appetizers. The bread bowls that come before the meal are also a highlight. The restaurant also serves lunch for a more low key experience.

I placed a to-go order but wanted something to snack on so I ordered 1/2 dozen of oysters. I asked if they could make 1/2 Rockefeller style and the other half regular. I should have stayed with the regular. My steak was okay and I did not like the creamed spinach. The ambiance and staff are really nice. I would try it again but maybe not to go.

Wonderful dinner during Valentines weekend. Impressive bread basket. Our steaks were perfectly prepared. Cocktails were wonderful. Loved both sides - the au gratin potatoes and the creamed corn. Espresso flourless cake delish! Nice to have a separate gluten-free menu for my husband. Service from Bryon, and the entire team, was spot-on. Overall a great experience. Thank you for nice evening!

We went here last night for an early Valentines dinner. I will list things that we really really liked when things really didn't like things that were just OK. I will say the atmosphere and the ambience of the place is beautiful. I love the outside of the building and the inside of the building, I thought it was stunning to view. I like the ladies in the front they checked my coat. I thought that was nice. We were seated in the bar area. We first sat down. There were some intoxicated gentlemen at the bar and Security threw them out. I never seen this at a restaurant before fancy one was kind of a cool feature. Our waitress was super friendly and nice. My wife and I both ordered a New York strip unfortunately both were not cooked medium like they were supposed to be mine out raw and I hate this but I had to send it back because it was a rare steak and I asked for medium my wife's came out well done but we didn't send her back. It was $57 for each steak so kind of wasted money on the state department unfortunately, they didn't bring me back a new steak within a few moments and it was tasty. It was not the best, but it did job. My wife's pour steak is still sitting in the refrigerator because there's no saving it. Anyway, we got mac & cheese and au gratin potatoes and both of them were really good. The manager came out and checked on those since I had to send my steak back so that was nice to see. I did get to go box and unfortunately they did not give me the rest of Augrton potatoes. They gave us the mac & cheese and the go box And the two steaks to take home but they didn't give me my au gratin potatoes. They threw them away. Not really sure why they did that but can't get that money back either. Overall pretty good experience nobody's perfect on cooking steaks and they were nice about it at least. I would go back

What a great high end dinning experience. Great atmosphere, amazing service. Definitely sharing size portions! We enjoyed raw oysters, tune tartar, tomato and burrata salad, a perfectly mid rare bone in ribeye w/ crab and Béarnaise topper, glazed Brussels sprouts w/ thick bacon and creamy au gratin potatoes. The steak stole the show, but everything else was amazing. The wine and cocktails were the perfect accompaniment to a lovely date night with wonderful conversation. Enjoy!!!

The food was good, from the steaks, salmons, chickens, sides, and Cesar Salads everything was good. Ambiance is beautiful and the service was great. The server was patient and helpful.

It was very busy the night we were there and even so, the service was phenomenal. We started off with the Nueske's Cherrywood Smoked Bacon with Korean BBQ (Double cut smoked bacon with Korean BBQ glaze and pickled shallots) Really great. My entree was the Dry Aged NY Strip, and we got two sides to share, the Creamed Spinach and the Parmesan Truffle Fries. Dont sleep on those fries, they were insanely good. If I had to have a complaint of any kind it was that my steak was under seasoned. I did not get any of the extra toppings like blue cheese or a sauce, and it was very evident that the meat needed more. Still, a five star experience all around

The Waygu & Wine experience was fancy. From the moment you pull up in the parking lot, from the Tiffany colored shutters to the statues at the door., it screams elegance! We were greeted upon walking in, our reservation was at 8:30. The table was decorated for my bday in a classy way. The dim lights was screaming romantic. We were originally supposed to be at the bar, so they switched us with no problem. From the pineapple shots gifted to us by Emily the best bartender and the small wine tasting she gave us before we decided on what glass we were paring with our Waygu burger. We had the mushroom Swiss & Black and Bleu Waygu burger!. The night ended with a decadent bday treat! The ambiance, service and atmosphere was unmatched!

I was craving lamb chops and my husband was craving lobster Mac and cheese. We decided to come here and it did not disappoint. The cheese sauce in the lobster Mac and cheese savory. The lobster was plentiful. The Au Gratin potatoes were just ok. Now to the main attraction...The lamb chops were delicious and cooked perfectly. There were double cut lamb rib chops were delicious and perfectly cut. Very meaty. The Capitol Grille definitely gives 5 star. The service was impeccable. Our table was checked on often, and our cups were never empty.

Upon not eating the day before while out to Conner's... then trying again tonight... had to leave- just wanted a nice steak and quality time with my daughter! Called to see about the wait- an hour ok. Arrived early, and so beautifully welcomed in. First sign of how extraordinary the rest of our first visit would continue to expand and grow into just a magical and profoundly unique experience. Our hostess was just sweet, compassionate and went beyond to ensure we would be set up for greatness! She sat us with Robbie- astounding, handsome, hilarious and just absolutely fantastic set of skills! The best!!! Periodt. Yaaaaasssssss! We were graced by 3 managers, all of whom were very well trained, respectful, professional and also hysterical! They really were just showing out! Checked on us- made sure we had everything!!!! These gentlemen know how to ensure everything is right, you're not only having a great time but are entertained! Just bloody brilliant... I literally laughed so hard and was in tears that my lashes popped off! No- seriously! This service, the gorgeous people, and this amazing place is worth every penny. Food.. oh well now... let's just see- Ah-fucking-mazing. Pan fried Calamari and the Nueskes Cherrywood Smoked Bacon with Korean BBQ round of applause!! So good- my daughter prefers softer calamari and I prefer it crunchy lol but it was a mix of both! Peppers were delicious! She had the roasted chicken breast with mushrooms and Parmesan risotto- she absolutely loved it! It smelled ridiculously amazing! (Please read her review on her food lol) I ordered the NY Strip au Poivre with Courvoisier cream sauce- just minus the peppercorns... and did the mashed potatoes... Applause and cheers and tears... like my eyes did roll over to the back of my head and well I won't say what was said but eh... I did have a whole moment and everyone wants what I was having. Iykyk If not they're not wanting it... they are not very interesting and can't sit with us. I said what I said. Now - I am not a drinker... but I went on to try one out for y'all. The passion fruit mojito- I don't want no problems. But this right here... *lip smack pop lock and drop* Fire, strong as all get out I was lit and again I'm not a drinker so yeah a lightweight. My buzz wasn't crazy but I was like can I get another sooooooooooo lol Dessert we ordered the coconut cream pie and the cheesecake. She said she loves the coconut cream it was so sweet! The crème brûlée cheesecake... the texture of the cheesecake was so.. sooooo velvety soft... and the flamed top... ugh it's so good I'm disgusted I don't have another one yet. So now that I've taken you on an extended journey just know this... I made reservations before leaving. Best night out... so grateful and feeling so lucky to have met everyone!
